Why is help behind a login?

The schema for fundref.xsd has a link to help.crossref dot org #fundref but this is unavailable to me because it requires a login. Why is this data being restricted, and why is there any sensitive information there?

Our support/documentation site has moved since that schema was created in 2013. You can access it at Documentation - Crossref now, and everything is open and publicly available.

The old documentation site was hosted by Zendesk, which is a ticketing software that we still use for fielding support ticket emails. So, when it’s asking you to login, that’s a login for Crossref’s Zendesk instance, not to access the support documents or help site.
